Panning Document Question

Is there an option somewhere to pan the corner of a photoline document to the centre of the screen and then zoom in to do work ?

For example the top left hand corner of the document when zoomed in stays stuck in the top left corner of the screen.

I've solved this by changing it from image mode to document mode.

Then zooming and panning works like I am used to in other applications.

You can also change layer size.

I solved this by setting the Document and Picture Modes' "Edge Width" to 1000%.

You can find these in the Document settings in the preferences. Then you can pan as you wish (except for extremely sized images with ridiculous aspect ratios).

Thanks Herbert, I read elsewhere on the forum about edge width and it didn't seem to do anything when I changed it. Now I relook at it, I've just noticed there is a edge width for Document Mode and Picture mode. I had changed document mode previously which worked nicely but picture mode was still 0%.

So I am all sorted now, its working nicely now in both modes. I'm finding 500% Ok for images I'm currently working on which are 4096px.
