turn off status bar

Can I have status bar not visible by default?
Currently i need to turn it off every time pl starts.

Is there a config file that i can edit?

Hmm, you are correct: Photoline does not remember to save the status of the status bar (no pun intended) in its configuration. I will mention this in the beta forum.

Maybe if the status bar displayed more information it would be more useful. I notice some sort pixel coordinate("x: 594.6 px y: 754.2 px) is displayed for the cursor position. Of what use are the decimal places? When selecting something the decimals aren't displayed.

Why not also display the "Picture Info" panel read outs ( r 127 / g 127 / b 127 ) there, for whatever color space you're working in? That would save having to have that panel open all the time.

Also it would be useful to see the ICC profile embedded in the base/background image and the profile for the current layer, if any. ( GRACol2006_Coated1v2 / sRGB )

I also noticed, for the Histogram panel, if you turn on "Logarithmic" display, the setting isn't saved between sessions. It always reverts to "Linear". Is there any way to make that stick?
