Does Photoline offer an indexed colour image mode?

Today I had to change a png file with four colours - two colours had to be switched. Normally, I do this type of work in indexed mode, but I noticed Photoline does not offer such an image mode?

Am I correct?

I am aware of other methods (like colour replace), but these do not really solve the problem in an elegant way. Any other image editor I have ever worked with always included an option to work with indexed colours tables. I cannot seem to find this option in Photoline.

Yes, you are. There is no indexed mode.

No, there aren't.

- The age of indexed images is gone. They were important, when graphic cards only had 256 colors.
- None of the current filters could be applied to indexed images. There's is no reasonable way to - for example - blur an indexed image or apply Curves to one.
- We would have to rewrite the few tools, that would make sense with indexed images.

If you really need indexed images, you can export them from PhotoLine, but the need for them is getting smaller and smaller.
