Hi folks,
I need to specify an exact width for the border when I print. But PL only gives me percent, and pixels. Is there a way to specify inches or cm?

I don't know what function you are talking about, but if a text field is showing the unit "px", you can usually always right-click and choose a different unit.asharpe hat geschrieben:I need to specify an exact width for the border when I print. Oh, sorry, I meant the Print Options dialog box. There are no other choices other than px or percent. I will upload a screenshot tonight if it still isn't clear.Martin Huber hat geschrieben:I don't know what function you are talking about, but if a text field is showing the unit "px", you can usually always right-click and choose a different unit.asharpe hat geschrieben:I need to specify an exact width for the border when I print. Re: Specifying actual border width for printing
As Martin wrote, just right-click (ctrl-click on OS X) in the text boxes (for the dimensions) and choose another unit (cm/inch/mm/pt) for display. This works almost everywhere in PL. Or just enter your dimensions with the appropriate unit (in or cm) – this gives the right values, but doesn't change the way the unit is displayed.asharpe hat geschrieben:Oh, sorry, I meant the Print Options dialog box. Re: Specifying actual border width for printing
And... you are absolutely correct. I had no idea. I've been using PL for quite a while, and this would have been useful on several occasions. And now, it is indispensable to me for printing. I guess it's somewhere in the manual, but I've never seen it. Thanks to you both!bkh hat geschrieben: As Martin wrote, just right-click (ctrl-click on OS X) in the text boxes (for the dimensions) and choose another unit (cm/inch/mm/pt) for display.
