Finally Photoline is making (some of) the lists!

Beitrag von Herbert123 »

I am pleasantly surprised to see Photoline mentioned in the below list.

http://design.tutsplus.com/articles/fre ... -cms-23771

About time, I should say. Photoline is generally not mentioned in lists like these - although the author does not seem to grasp the scope and breadth of Photoline, it seems to finally (but slowly) enter the mainstream designer consciousness.

The author also does not seem to grasp the concept of the word "Free".... :P

But you're right, it's good to see PL getting mentioned in these kinds of lists. (Did Hell just freeze over? ) Thanks for the link.

Yes, I noticed that as well. A bit of a confused article, if I ever saw one. Let's not look the gift horse in the mouth, though ;-P

In "CMYK 194 Success Secrets - 194 Most Asked Questions On CMYK - What You Need To Know" Photoline is mentioned exactly 20 (twenty) times.

The book is in English. It's also available in other countries, btw. Just search for the title.

Cheers

The book seems to be written in Sanskrit by a crazy man locked up in an asylum and then translated in English by the Google automatic service. The "author" even found a reason for a chapter about the CMYK EP: the electronic, dubstep, experimantal band of James Blake...

It was a joke, but I cannot tell you why I did it. :) Sorry.

It's the most delirious book I've ever read. Hope to be forgiven.

If it was sanskrit, the author would likely to be Indian -- and India is actually the home of some of the best English writing in the world. Arundhati Roy springs instantly to mind but there are many, many more.

Maybe a significant English writing pretending he's not. :)

Good that PL made this list. I keep mentioning it on DPReview without any visible response despite lots of people swearing they will not fall into the Adobe vacuum cleaner in their hip pocket plan.

Cheers, Geoff
