Is there a way to control the exposure of a picture without being a raw for example a .exr with extended range?

Yes, via "Optimize HDR". You'll have to change the right-hand value, it takes values >1 (if you want to darken the image).

There is no simple "exposure correction" slider (there is no such thing for raws, either).

Thanks, I was unsure about Optimize HDR.

Since I don´t work on raw I didn´t know that it doesn´t exist for it as well.
