Req: Zoom -- constant zoom factor

I'm wondering if it wouldn't be useful to have a method of zooming that would apply a constant zoom factor to the existing zoom level.

For example, when working with images/documents using metric sizes it might be nice to be able to keep applying a factor of 1.41 to the zoomed view in order to maintain a logical metric aspect ratio. Conversely, applying a reduction factor of 0.71 would also maintain logical metric aspect ratios.

This feature could possibly be an additional input box and execution icon in the Zoom toolbar.
