Hi
Is there a tutorial on how to batch process images please?
I want to reduce lots of pictures to a width of 460 px, and probably reduce file size, but the only 'Convert Action' in the dropdown is "Scale 50%". How do the presets work or where is there info on this please? Can you somehow 'record' reducing the size to one, and then apply to many? I've no idea how the preset might work. Can't find my PDF manual of my version, or where to download manual.
I'm still using V17.10 so maybe there's more flexibiltiy to this if I upgrade?
Thanks

Re: Batch processing
Sorry didn't mean to post in the FAQ section... I think it should have gone elsewhere.

Re: Batch processing
This is the way to go. Open one image, record a PL action (Section 4.26 in the current PL manual, probably not much dfferent in PL 17), and make sure that you name it appropriately. Then just choose that action in the batch convert dialogue. You'll probably just do a "Scale document" in "Width" mode, possibly followed by some sharpening.xgipper hat geschrieben:I want to reduce lots of pictures to a width of 460 px, and probably reduce file size, but the only 'Convert Action' in the dropdown is "Scale 50%". I don't think that this part of PL has changed much since v. 17, but of course there are enough other reasons to upgradexgipper hat geschrieben: I'm still using V17.10 so maybe there's more flexibiltiy to this if I upgrade?
