CM: DeNoise adjustment darkens and desaturates image

Has something changed with the DeNoise adjustment?

With any JPG image, the DeNoise adjustment turns the entire image very dark. I need to reduce all the settings to near zero to return the image's brightness to nearly normal, but most of the colour information is lost.

I don't remember this happening with the previous versions of PL.

Some experimenting reveals that this problem occurs if the JPG does not have a color profile. If I convert to the "basic" sRGB or to ProPhoto, the DeNoise adjustment works as it should.

OK, I found that the problem here was the Color Management used for RGB images. I changed the PL Options to use "System" for RGB Color Management, and the DeNoise is working for JPG images without color profiles now.

Yes. I removed the original "Prob:" prefix because it seems like this is not a problem with PL.

The RGB profile used to be:
sRGB display profile with display hardware configuration data derived from calibration

This is the same profile I am using on the Devices tab for my Screen profile. The "calibration" was set by using the NVIDIA Control Panel to adjust the screen colours and brightness to my liking, and then saving the configuration as a calibration profile. This is on Win7 Pro.
