I hesitate to mention this, but it might be time to consider supporting the WebP animation format.
Although, as far as I have been able to determine, the Microsoft Edge browser team has no plans to support even static WebP images, I've recently begun using the Opera browser and it's nice to see both static and animated WebP images in it.
Just a thought....

While I'm at it, it would make sense to add the MP4 video format for exporting animations -- it's more widely used than MOV, and for those of us on Windows who refuse to install QuickTime it would be a great option.
