How to see overset text.

Beitrag von Vivi_Ram »

Hello folks:

A small question. Working on a document, I wanted to know if there was an option to see the overset text, that is, text that overflows beyond the text box. If there's no option for this, then I'd like to make this a feature request. If it already exists, then let me know where I can find it, kindly. Thank you very much!

So if Dynamic Text Layer is disabled and text is larger than layer frame, you want a toggle to see it somehow like this? Interesting idea. Something similar to Hide Border Content toggle but for text frame content only. I guess currently there is no such option in PhotoLine.

Thanks for the reply. @Shijan.

Yes. That's exactly what I want. Because I frequently copy paste long form content from word docs and it overflows. There are two solutions. Either you should see overset text, or you should have auto flow option. Like in Xara and Affinity Publisher. Where based on the number of your text columns, Xara and Affinity automatically creates new pages with same column format and flows the overflowing text into them. Ideally, I'd love to have both. But if that's too much work, then just being able to see overset text should be amazing.
