I have an action in wich I want to insert the command "pause". how can I do it?

Also, is there a way to change layer color label in an action? And also, insert an empty group?

Create new layer
Group it
Drag layer outside group
Delete layer

Currently impossible i guess.
I requested for similar improvements some time ago in email conversation:
Record as Action "Use Layer Mask", "Show Mask", "Lock Transparency", "Lock Position", "Prevent from Selecting", "Protect Content", "Layer Color"
Record as Action "Filter -> External Programs" and "External Edit" dialog settings.

Works but it also removed all the other actions I had created.

If you use menu "Load..." - action or preset overwrites all existing items.
If you use menu "Merge..." - action or preset adds to existing items.
