Variable Font crashes

Hello! I'm having a tough time with crashes from using variable fonts. The variable font is Junicode. The famous medievalist font used by scholars. https://github.com/psb1558/Junicode-fon ... _2.216.zip - You can find it here. Please could you look into why it is happening? The steps to reproduce. Set a text to one of the font weights, then change to some other weight - and bam, crash without warning!

It doesn't crash here, neither on macOS 15.5, nor on Windows 11.
- I downloaded your archive
- installed the variable version of the font
- created a simple text layer ("Hello test")
- set the font to "Junicode VF"
- switched weight/width several times.

Can you send a PLD with a text layer that shows the crash when switching font width/weight? And which font width/weight do you switch to?

Yes, it was a different, problematic font. It has nothing to do with PL. I figured it out afterwards. Thanks!
