Learning how to replace sky.
Brought in sky image and it’s much larger than original image.
What's best way to remove / delete parts that are outside original image ?

Re: Change layer size
I have 3 ways how I usually do that:
- Ignore it. You notice that most of the sky is somewhat grayed out. It's included when saving as .pld, but it's all ignored when saving as Jpg. This works because your bottom layer has the desired size.
- With foresight: After loading the first picture, I switch to "Document mode". It's in the document attributes, usually near the layer attributes you know from the text thread. Or I even start with "File > new document"
In document mode, picture and pixels are independent from the bottom layer, and all layers can be placed freely. This will work even when you delete the bottom layer.
- In hindsight: Select the layer, "Layout > Image > bring to document size". Or more often, Lasso tool, CTRL+A on the background, then the crop-button on the foreground layer. I do that when I want to save space in the .pld.
