Allowing full visibility for out of border content - solution for artboards

One of the most obvious lacking feature of PL is the ability to contain multiple artboards within a single screen. The simplest solution for this is to allow a toggle option within preferences where "border content" is rendered in full opacity. At the moment, it gets washed out. This means we can duplicate the entire canvas and place it right next to it! And by renaming groups, we can essentially create a new artboard.

Agree, slider to control out of border overlay transparency could be useful. This was discussed earlier few times as i remember. Currently it is possible only in Document Mode if set color in preferences to Transparent color. But in this case it will be impossible quickly hide border content by Hide Border Content toggle. Not too comfortable.
Also in addition i can add this old request - option to set custom color for Normal Mode, Full Screen mode and Hidden Panels mode viewtopic.php?p=51581#p51581

What do you mean by custom colour for each of those modes? Where would you use it? I don't fully understand.

For example i usually like to work with gray background border area, but in Full Screen mode i prefer black background border area because it is better blends with monitor frame and i can see full screen image with less distraction. Also, same as it was described by bruce1951's post viewtopic.php?p=51583#p51583 , it is always nice to change border color time to time and see image in different visual conditions. For human mind image on black background looks different than same image on white background.

Yup. That makes sense. On that note, another thing missing is the per page colour in documents. you can only set page color globally.
