[Request/Idea] Import SVG and CSS gradient data directly to Gradient Editor

Beitrag von shijan »

There are plenty of free online tools like this https://wrap-gradient.vercel.app/ that can generate gradients in OKLAB OKLCH and other color models and export them as CSS, SVG and other types of data.
I find a way to import them into PhotoLine, but it is rather slow process:
Create vector gradient in PhotoLine.
Save as SVG.
Open SVG in Text Editor.
Replace gradient values data.
Save.
Open saved file in PhotoLine.

Is it possible to add an option to somehow import SVG and CSS gradient data directly to PhotoLine Gradient Editor using Copy/Paste?
SVG example:

Code: Alles auswählen

<linearGradient>
    <stop offset="0.0%" stop-color="#000000"/>
    <stop offset="15.3%" stop-color="#40009f"/>
    <stop offset="25.2%" stop-color="#00a9ff"/>
    <stop offset="34.1%" stop-color="#00ff55"/>
    <stop offset="42.4%" stop-color="#d4ff00"/>
    <stop offset="50.5%" stop-color="#ff9f00"/>
    <stop offset="58.6%" stop-color="#ff1800"/>
    <stop offset="66.9%" stop-color="#c00022"/>
    <stop offset="75.8%" stop-color="#7d0020"/>
    <stop offset="85.7%" stop-color="#390010"/>
    <stop offset="100.0%" stop-color="#000000"/>
</linearGradient>
CSS example:

Code: Alles auswählen

background: linear-gradient(90deg,
  #000000 0%,
  #40009f 15.29%,
  #00a9ff 25.24%,
  #00ff55 34.06%,
  #d4ff00 42.38%,
  #ff9f00 50.5%,
  #ff1800 58.62%,
  #c00022 66.94%,
  #7d0020 75.76%,
  #390010 85.71%,
  #000000 100%
);

It also could be special right click menu items "Paste SVG Data" and "Paste CSS Data"

I checked other gradient generators and each creates slightly different SVG/CSS structures. So "Paste SVG/CSS Data" command somehow should read only color values, and if possible ignore all the rest of the code.

Code: Alles auswählen

    <stop offset="0.0%" stop-color="#000000"/>
    <stop offset="15.3%" stop-color="#40009f"/>
    <stop offset="25.2%" stop-color="#00a9ff"/>
    <stop offset="34.1%" stop-color="#00ff55"/>
    <stop offset="42.4%" stop-color="#d4ff00"/>
    <stop offset="50.5%" stop-color="#ff9f00"/>
    <stop offset="58.6%" stop-color="#ff1800"/>
    <stop offset="66.9%" stop-color="#c00022"/>
    <stop offset="75.8%" stop-color="#7d0020"/>
    <stop offset="85.7%" stop-color="#390010"/>
    <stop offset="100.0%" stop-color="#000000"/>

Code: Alles auswählen

  #000000 0%,
  #40009f 15.29%,
  #00a9ff 25.24%,
  #00ff55 34.06%,
  #d4ff00 42.38%,
  #ff9f00 50.5%,
  #ff1800 58.62%,
  #c00022 66.94%,
  #7d0020 75.76%,
  #390010 85.71%,
  #000000 100%

Also it could be logical to have an option to Copy HTML value (for example #ff1800) and Paste it directly to any color field.
Currently Paste HTML value possible only to special field in full sized Color Editor.
