Distort selection

Hi all, I bet this is a really stupid question, but I can´t find any info about this.

How I can scale, rotate, distort a portion of an image selected by the Lasso tool? Right now the only way to do it is Tool --- Lasso --- Extract selection, and then paste it in a new layer in order to distort it.

Right now the only way to do it is Tool --- Lasso --- Extract selection, and then paste it in a new layer in order to distort it.

You can't distort a selection – you'll have to copy it to a layer first. Tool -> Lasso -> Convert Selection to Layer (or just copy + paste, all of these commands are also in the context menu) is probably faster but doesn't try to enhance the edge of the selection. (Btw., Extract selection is only available in the latest beta.) Use "Reduce to one layer" if you really want the change to go into the original layer.
