I just wanted to share with you my experience that I had yesterday in a meeting eith a advertising agency.
Around noon I went to their office to check the last details of a brochure that we are making, I´m in charge to the pictures (3D) and they the diagram and design of the pages. I took my laptop with me to discuss more precisely about changes or final adjustments.
Very proud (me) I launch PL and his face was a little
, he had PS open in his laptop. We discussed about resolution dpi, sizes, etc. Then the moment of truth came, I had to give him a document with layers, adjustments, etc, saved in PSD format in order to him to open it... my friend what a dissaster, the layer groups from PL came to PSD as merged layer, adjusment layers from PL where locked layers in PS, at the end we couldn´t work together sharing the files, I had to give him a tiff 
.I know that this topic has been discussed many times but yesterday was shocking for me. I´m not asking for a 1:1 PS-PL but a little better integration would be nice, I refuse to spend 800 euros in a software that do the same the PL and better, and I refuse to use not so "original" PS version. Open PS file in PL is semi-ok, but the other way around is a big big mess.
I don´t want to sound like ranting, just wanted to share a close experience working PS-PL in the same office.
