Photoshop CS6 (Beta) takes what's best from PhotoLine

Beitrag von ono »

Hello,

Have you seen latest Photoshop CS6 Beta released to the public today? I must confess that now PS feels soooo much better on Mac, also it has also many features that were already there in PhotoLine and missing in previous CS5, which are:
  • effects applied to groups
  • group clipping masks
  • vector pixel snapping
  • direct vector shapes manipulation, shape is accessible directly on the layer list (not via mask as it was before)
It has really improved interface and layout too on Mac. So far I am pretty excited about this CS6 release. Still I love PhotoLine, as I wish it could take all the best from PhotoShop in next releases as PhotoShop takes what best from PhotoLine in this release.

I was playing a little with it, and it seems good. they have adopted the PSE interface colors hehehe a little funny. Maybe there are some adobe spies here in this forum so they are taking things borrowed :D.

The nicest feature is the almost-to be- after effects, I think is awesome edit and apply filters and so on to your video without jumping to another software.

As I stated in my topic Wishlist http://www.pl32.com/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3005, there are some things that PL should borrow or get the inspiration from PS that for me they are vital to rise the competition bar higher.

I have to add that the the vector part in PL is way far superior than in PS.

Cheers
Juan
