Simple question, but no answer in Help files: How can you use other batch conversion settings (e.g. size) than the ones included in the menu under "batch convert"?

1) Open the Actions panel under View-->Panels-->Actions.
2) open one of your images meant to be used in the batch, and create a new action in that panel. Label it appropriately.
3) Practice the steps of what you mean to do a couple of times
4) Once you feel confident, hit the "record" button in the actions panel.
5) apply all the steps
6) Stop recording.
Done! You should now have a new custom action listed in the Actions panel.
Open the batch dialog, and select your custom action. You may also activate a dialog for one or more steps in the recorded action by clicking the empty rectangle on the left of each recorded step.
