TPL to ABR

Greetings,
I am using PhotoLine on Mac OSX 10.7.5.
Is there a way to convert photoshop TPL files to ABR so that I can import the brushes into PhotoLine?

The TPL files are simply saved presets for brush (ABR) files. It is a way for transporting those presets from say one computer to another.

Thanks for the explanation. I am still missing something.
How can I extract the brushes from the TPL file?
I don't see the brushes in the brush viewer, only when I bring up the tool for the brushes.

According to a post I read, you can try simply renaming the tpl extension to abr. Don't know if it works or not.

Like I mentioned, as far as I know, all the TPL files contain are the instructions of a modified brush so it can be shared, moved or reloaded. So, let's say I take any brush in PS and modify its default settings. The TPL contains those modifications, not necessarily the new brush itself. Saving the brush itself should result in an ABR file that contains the new brush. ABR files can contain multiple brushes.

There are utilities available that can extract ABR brushes as PNG files. Don't know if that helps at all.
