how to cancel lasso

Hi,

I can't figure out how to cancel the lasso and generally it's confusing to use.

I tried to edit a photo using the lasso and git stuck and was unable to undo, cancel... forcing me to close the file and lose all recent work.

How do I cancel , undo or otherwise back out of lasso??

Hi,

After the lasso is made, go to Edit --> Deselect

Or hit CTRL/CMD + D

Use the Contextmenu or use "Tools/Mask/Delete Mask".
