Both the cage deformation and n-point image deformation tools would be, I think, a very useful addition. Currently, I believe only Photoshop, Krita, and After Effects offer this. A tool like this in Photoline would expand the deformation capabilities of Photoline a lot!
A paper explaining the math behind the ARAP method (also used by Photoshop's Puppet Tool) can be found here:
http://www-ui.is.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp/~takeo ... /rigid.pdf
Another approach using the "Moving Least Squares" method is described here (Krita's deformation tool uses this method):
http://faculty.cs.tamu.edu/schaefer/research/mls.pdf
Another option is Bounded Harmonic Weights, as described in this paper:
http://igl.ethz.ch/projects/bbw/bounded ... -et-al.pdf
The last method may be the most powerful approach.

Re: Request for "Puppet Warp" like deformation tools
I have seen mostly elephant trunks, winking persons and bowed columns for the puppet warp, and I've seen that someone used it to straighten the horizon in a picture. At the time when this tools was offered in PS, there even was a contest in the Docma-magazine that explicitly asked for application of this filter.
I think that this filter looks amazing, but I don't see the applications that justify it. This reminds me of the polar filter: There are some pretty distortion effects and the little planets, but are there any other applications yet?

Re: Request for "Puppet Warp" like deformation tools
It's like Rigged meshes on 3D software...
But It should be possible to make this effect with the new deformation tool.

Is it possible to select multiple deformation points to move together?

With PhotoLine's Distort tool? Yes, you can select multiple points either using rubber band selection or by shift+clicking another point.GM1968 hat geschrieben:Is it possible to select multiple deformation points to move together?

Nice !
If you could edit this selection of multiple points (move, rotation, scale) that would be great!
