problem scanning -server busy

hi,
running PhotoLine 17.53 (32bit) i found i don't have access to the scanner.

it did work before, but with a new PC it gives me an error message >

Server busy.
This action cannot be completed because the other application is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy application and correct the problem.

problem > clicking 'Switch To' doesn't do anything, besides 'pressing' the Win button... nada happens... :/
