Preview Mode

Beitrag von Qwerty »

Hi,

is there a way how to quickly (idealy with a press of a single button) preview the file without all the staff that won't be visible in the exported jpg? I know that I can turn off guides and handles and all, but it's a bit slow to always switching all that off an on. I know there is a print preview, but it is not antialiased and it always opens the first page of the document which is also not exactly ideal.

Web > Web Export (Alt+X)?

Thank you for the reply but the web export doesn't do the job either, the preview is too small and not antialiased - so if you have thin lines some of them disapear when zoomed out. Perhaps I should learn all the shortcuts to disable this "disturbing" stuff.

In any case, you can open a new window for your document and disable all the helper lines there – in this way, it is easy to switch between different viewing modes. If you minimise the window(s) that you don't need this doesn't impact redrawing speed, either (if that's an issue).

Btw., you can assign all the view options to a toolbar. That way, you can enable/disable them very quickly, too.

Cheers

Burkhard.

Thank you! The trick with windows is pretty good and usable.
