Is there a date for release of the next version?

Like -- I'm interested in the possibility of something happening in the next two weeks.

I am currently in Australia, you see, where I have free access to high speed broadband so I can download easily!

Now, PL is built with such economy of code (which I admire very much) that it is the one program I can download comfortably and reasonably economically in my tropical paradise where the flaw is not apples and serpents, but slow, wireless dongle-based internet connection!

However, I keep seeing references to beta versions with wanted features, so I am just wondering… I mean, downloading it at high speed at no internet cost has much to be said for it compared watching it slowly, slowy inch itself onto my drive! LOL.

Thanks Gerhard. Just wondering how my luck was running! It actually doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg to download PL on my slow connection due to your amazing economy of code and hence the small size of PL, but as my old Mum told me: "A penny saved is a penny earned!"

I'm looking forward to the ugprade when it comes out.
