Saturation mask plugin

Beitrag von russellcottrell »

Hello; I made a saturation mask plugin and posted instructions on how to use it in both Photoshop and PhotoLine. In case anyone is interested . . . . Plus there are a few more plugins.

Interesting plugin. Thanks.

I think there's a more straightforward (and possibly less troublesome) way to apply it in PL:
  • Duplicate the image layer.
  • Apply the filter to that duplicated layer.
  • With that newly created B&W layer still selected, copy it to the Clipboard.
  • Delete the B&W layer.
  • Create a HSL adjustment layer.
  • Add a mask to that HSL adjustment layer.
  • With that newly created mask layer still selected, use Tool...Change Channels to set the Source to "Clipboard" and the Destination to "Black".
Added:
An action could probably be created to do all that in one swell foop....

Yes, I think it can be eeeeeasily done....
Just take everything out on Highway 61.
