I have found that I can easily replace a sky by using the Autotransparency tool, adjusting the Tolerance to a low value and slowly removing the exiting sky in sections since each selection does a removal and incrementally removing small sections allow me to "build" the transparency I want. However I found that when I try to do the same thing with the Automasking took, that is create a larger mask from individual mask "pieces", there is no way for me to do that. Or, at least, no way I have found to do that.
There does not seem to be any "Add to" and "Remove from" settings in the Automask tool that would allow me to build a larger mask from smaller pieces. Of course I can select something with the Automasking tool and then switch to the Masking Brush, but it would be far easier to build a mask in the same way I can build a transparency. Is there any way to do that in PL?
Thanks.

You can hold down Shift or CTRL while selecting.

Foolish of me. I should have realized that what I needed to do was press some extra key since so much of how PL works conforms to that paradigm.Hoogo hat geschrieben:You can hold down Shift or CTRL while selecting.
Ctrl does not work on my Mac but Shift does. Thanks.
BTW - Is there any way to "Remove From" rather than "Add To"?

Yes. Thank you. That answers all my (current) questions. I am sure there will be more in the not-too-distant future.Alan9940 hat geschrieben: On Mac, Shift adds to and Command removes. Hope this helps!
