Krita 2.9 is out - perfect painting complement for Photoline

Krita is all about digital painting and drawing, and is a perfect partner for Photoline for anyone doing more creative work. While Photoline focuses more on compositing, image editing and processing, and photo developing, Krita focuses on pure digital art creation. It actually provides a better digital painting experience than Photoshop, and is more comparable to Corel Painter.

With the external app link it is easy to send a layer to Krita for the creative treatment, and then send it back to Photoline for further work. Also interesting to note: both applications use a similar layer stack approach. Krita also offers a number of distortion effects that Photoline misses, so it is also very usable for that.
