File reference as layer?
Is it possible to use a file reference as a layer? So changes to the file show up as changes in the related layer. I tried drag and drop a file into the layer stack but nothing happened, dropping it onto the canvas made a new layer that seems to be independent from the original image file.

Hidden in the toolbox, beneath all the vector shapes, you find a tool called "Placeholder value".
This tool is made for something like that.
Check the help for more information about it, I haven't used it yet.

There are no placeholder layers in the public release, they are just in the beta versions.Hoogo hat geschrieben:Hidden in the toolbox, beneath all the vector shapes, you find a tool called "Placeholder value".
