I am pretty certain this is a bug in 19.01
From Xara I exported vector lines to SVG.
In Gimp, Inkscape and DrawPlus it comes in prefectly fine.
In Photoline
I created a new layer, then used import to active layer and it comes in upside down.
Importing SVG - Upside Down ?

Re: Importing SVG - Upside Down ?
I did some more tests
Vectors created in Inkscape come into PL perfectly fine.
Vectors created in DrawPlus and exported to SVG also come in to PL perfectly fine.
So must be just a quirk in the way Xara writes out SVG files but oddly enough it comes into other vector drawing software perfectly fine, just not PL.

Re: Importing SVG - Upside Down ?
Maybe the original layer was mirrored/rotated? The imported layer will inherit these properties. If that's not what you want, there is also "Load Layer …" which just inserts a new layer (or layer group). What happens if you just open the svg as a new document in PL?
Cheers
Burkhard.

Load Layer works fine. (I did not know that function existed so very useful).bkh hat geschrieben:Maybe the original layer was mirrored/rotated? The imported layer will inherit these properties. Opening SVG opens fine and orientation is correct.
Problem only occurs if I create a new layer and then import to active layer.
I have sent the file to support.

Re: Importing SVG - Upside Down ?
got it. Only "Import in active layer" does flip the picture. That because the picture is flipped, but when it is imported in the active layer, it gets the orientation of the original layer. So PhotoLine is correct here.kevjon hat geschrieben:Load Layer works fine. (I did not know that function existed so very useful).
