Req: Copy histogram curves from one image to another

There are times when I want to match the colours of one image to another image. PhotoShop has its "Apply Color" functon, and there is the Metrix plugin from PSI that also does that.

I'm thinking that PL could have that functionality if it allowed copying the histogram curves from one image to another.

For example, by first selecting the skin area in one image one would be able to copy that histogram set of curves and apply it to the skin area of a second image. Those two images would then match nicely when combined. Or when creating a panorama, copying the curves from one image to the other would help getting a nicely matched panorama image.

However, I have not found this function already sometimes in request.
Is there this possibility?
