Req: Mask Brush with Shift key drawing options

When using the Paint Brush or Eraser, it's possible to hold down the Shift key to draw in a straight line.

I'd like to have the same capabilities with the Mask Brush tool. That would greatly help when refining a mask for cityscapes, where most of the edges are straight.

Good point.

As a workaround, I guess that you are aware that you can use the ordinary brush(es) as mask brushes by switching to "Edit Mask" mode?

Yeah, but I like the logic of having the Shift key options available for all the "painting" brushes....
