I've been trialing PL now for a week. I'm impressed and continue to discover all the 'nice' things about PL.
However one thing that annoys me. When I go to File/Open I see a full folder of files. Now my folders can contain a few hundred files from a single days work. I have to click on 'Files of type' to sort them into the various formats. As I only work with tif images it would be nice if the 'tif' choice became sticky. So that every time I go to Files/Open I only get tif files listed. Other programs, such as PaintShopPro have this feature and it's very convenient to use. (A typical folder in my system may have 300 NEF files. Then about 15 tif files that I have converted. Finding those files quickly would be nice).
It it possible to make these file choices sticky or introduce such a feature in future updates?

This would also work nicely with the suggestion I made a while ago to customize the "Open" file listing:

Not exactly what you're looking for, but interestingly not that well known:
Type *.tif as filename and press enter. At least Windows offers that in all the open dialogs.

As a matter of fact, one doesn't have to type the full extension:
*.t will show all file types beginning with "t"
*.p will show all file types beginning with "p" (PLD, PSD, PNG)
*.pl will show all file types beginning with "pl" (PLD)
and so on....

Thanks Hoogo. You must be older than me.
I had forgotten that trick from way back in my DOS days.
