Variable width vector layer

Hey guys,

I'd like to create a (non-closed) Vector layer that has a line width of (say) 5 pixels at one end, and 10 pixels at the other end, and linear interpolated with in between. Is there a way to do that?

Yes, in short: Create your layer, give it a width of 10 px, click on "line style" (or better double click), switch to the "line pattern" tab and pull the control point of the side you want to the half (of the y-axis, that's the width axis). Here you are!
