Photomerge in PhotoLine?

Hey guys,

I am wondering if there is any functionality in PhotoLine similar to Photoshop's Photomerge capability?

The basic idea is - you have two or more photos of a landscape somewhere, taken by rotating your camera about on a tripod.



Then you use Photomerge to stitch them together into one long panoramic image:



I have done this by hand many times in Photoline - it is reasonably time consuming. The idea with "Photomerge" is that it matches the pixels on two (or more) images to join them together automatically. You could see how this would be a bit of an art - as an exact match would almost never happen. You would have to allow some fuzziness in terms of the match, and potentially correct for camera distortion, tilt, or color mismatch...

ICE. It's hard to imagine stitching panoramas being any easier than using the free ICE program.

Or HUGIN, which I use most of the time for that task..

I agree about using ICE for stitching panoramas. I have it set up as a PL external program with the image type as "None" so I can launch it from within PL.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I had the chance to try out Microsoft ICE last night, and it works well. Next is to try HUGIN. Intriguingly, there seems to be a way to use HUGIN from the command line for batch processing - similar to imagemagick, which I have a little experience with.
