Can PL handle new camera RAW?

A friend is lamenting having to upgrade his P'shop light or whatever it is called, from 14 to 15 just to get the ability to handle RAW from his new Panasonic Lumix G80.

Can PL handle RAW from these new cameras? If so, how so?

Yes, works without a problem. You can test for yourself with the sample RAW files from that camera:
