Perhaps someone knows the answer to this. How can I use the batch convert function to convert all image files to Avif and save those to their original folders?
The batch convert dialog asks for a destination folder, but it should just save the converted files to their respective original folders.

Re: Batch convert all graphic files to Avif in all folders
Just set destination folder same as source folder.
P.S. I asked long time ago for small checkbox "Destination Folder Same as Source Folder" in Batch Converting, but seems it is not a priority yet.

Thanks! Worked like a charm. The Batch even understands that filenames with the identical name should not be converted twice or thrice.
I agree: a simple checkbox would have prevented me to ask this question
