Crash when copying luminosity mask to clipboard

Hello: I've been trying to edit a simple image via luminosity masking. So what I've done is to create a mask, and tried to copy it to the clipboard via the "change channel" function. It's consistently crashing. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v0cKqt ... drive_link - here's the file. Click on the greyscale layer, and go to "change channel," and copy from black to clipboard. It will crash.

Seems to work here when using PL 25.00 / macOS 15.5.

(I can confirm crashes in the latest beta 25.00b7 (already after selecting clipboard as the destination, before even copying). Worse, when trying "change channels" on the background layer it crashes before even showing the dialogue. If the problem only affects the beta version(s), it should be moved to the beta testers forum.)

You're right. It's the latest beta. And change channel is producing all kinds of crashes. Not just with that file. And not just with grey scale layers.

The crash, as confirmed by the developers on email, is caused by the preview dialogue box on the right. If you collapse it, it works.
