Feature Missing: Ability to select two different nodes from two different objects at once

Hello: I ran into a small dead end today working PL. The node tool does not allow the selection of multiple nodes from several different vector objects (that are not sub paths) and manipulate them at once. This is a missing feature. And would be most welcome practically every other tool allows this. Please could we allow this?

Then, I also think alignment functions should work for nodes too. Just like in every other application. This is super useful.

Another piece missing is stroke alignment for open paths. Strangely, you can align strokes outside for open paths, but not inside. Inside alignment for open paths should be allowed too.

Here's one more thing that PL needs to allow us to do:
When you select nodes using the edit vector points tool, the size in the layer properties panel should show the distances between the selected nodes. https://ibb.co/7tsSW1jk - Like this. And you should be able to change the size in layer properties panel to increase or decrease the size. This is extremely useful when you're trying to precise distances between various points.

This might be an toggle in Edit Vector Points Tool Settings that allow to select multiple nodes from multiple objects at once. For sure this is should not be permanent setting because in many situations select multiple nodes from multiple objects is not desired.
