Oklab supported by LittleCMS. New versions of Photoshop use Oklab to interpolate colors in the gradient tool. Oklab was added to Krita (as plug-in?) https://krita-artists.org/t/oklab-support/75285
Here is another interesting advantage that could be useful for film negatives invert, if add Oklab (and its cylindrical counterpart, OKLCH) as additional mode for Curves and Levels and Hue Editor in PhotoLine:
"No Hue/Chroma Warping: Unlike older uniform spaces like CIELAB, Oklab preserves hue linearity. Inverting colors in older spaces often makes inverted blues shift into purples.
Perceived Lightness: Oklab maps lightness mathematically so that a 50% change is visually perceived exactly as a 50% change."
Here is example how Oklab and Oklch color mixer UI looks in Color Designer plugin. It is really cool how they remap color area into normal rectangle. In most other online examples default Oklab color area field looks very different from simple rectangle.
