vectorshapes in perfect circle

OK, because the place isn't correct, let's discuss the theme here:

further on this page.
If I had to make a desision for the problem I would take the following unusual approach.
In order to make a circle with vectorshapes around it in perfect distance to each other, I would do this: Create a vectorshape(heart), resize it for the desired image and copy it.
Create a circle, open the texttool and make the textline follows the circle.
Don't type in text, but paste the copied vectorshape (in this case 5 times) in the textline.
You can't edit the vectorshape but you can resize the circle.
In the texttool set the kerning to the desired number.
In order to test the exact distances, create a star(vectorshape).
All you have to do now is to trim the distances.
I hope this is an approach for you.
Good luck.
